Spain (Intermalta)

Created in 1977, Intermalta has been dedicated to malt production for nearly 50 years. 
It is one of Spain's leading producers, with industrial facilities in San Adrián, Seville and Albacete. 

The company works across the entire value chain, starting in the field, to offer its customers the highest-quality malt tailored to their needs. Intermalta is operationally integrated into Malteurop.

Intermalta (Seville) has received funding from the European Union through the NextGenerationEU Fund, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for its biomass cogeneration plant, under the incentive programme for the implementation of renewable thermal energy installations in various sectors of the economy. 

This programme is run by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge through IDAE and managed by the Regional Government of Andalusia via the Andalusian Energy Agency.
